Cut the lemon in half and squeeze it to obtain its juice. Remove the seeds if necessary. Keep aside only 2 teaspoons of this juice for the rest of the recipe.

Pour the fresh lemon juice and the sprig of thyme (or your ½ teaspoon of dried herb) in a carafe, top up with water, then mix.

It’s ready! Keep this drink cool until ready to drink.

If you find it too acidic, do not add sugar or honey, prefer to use a powdered sweetener to sweeten it according to your taste.

How to prepare turmeric and lemon for weight loss?

  • 1 cup of hot water
  • ¼ teaspoon of turmeric

    I really enjoyed reading your article about turmeric. For me is the first  time when i hear about this combination between turmeric and lemon or cinnamon. Because of the job  I face with this weight problem. I have tried many methods but I have not been able to lose much weight. You gave me a very good idea and I can’t wait to try this recipe.
